When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calin Olaru made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as FC RAPID's Dinu Costache slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Omar Donzel. That made the score 3-3 after 54 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Maxinesti's zone, Calin Olaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Omar Donzel came out of the goal and Calin Olaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th match minute, FC RAPID was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Casian to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Omar Donzel managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when FC RAPID's Calin Olaru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 3-4 when Calin Olaru sped through Maxinesti's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Omar Donzel. Leonard Casian hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Horia Tudor was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. FC RAPID's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Augustin Huidu hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to Maxinesti getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Mihail Tilincă hit a great ball. If Calin Olaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC RAPID played a much better game than Maxinesti and deserved their victory. The Maxinesti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
