After a rather tough play, Vizirul CF's Cristinel Trăilă got a free kick in the 20th minute. Nicolae Zgabei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Balint in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vizirul CF! Iustin Mihuț walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Mihail Tilincă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Zgabei having to interfere. If Alex Balint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Doru Stoicu got free with Omar Donzel in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 38th minute, Doru Stoicu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Omar Donzel. The goal made the score 2-1. Doru Stoicu struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Omar Donzel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vizirul CF. The referee ignored Vizirul CF's protests and gave Nicodim Petculescu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Vizirul CF getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Nicodim Petculescu hit a great ball. After 57 played minutes Maxinesti got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Arieșan. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Mihail Tilincă got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Vizirul CF booed when Maxinesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Achifoaiei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolae Zgabei was out of position in the 85 minute of play, and Alex Balint capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alex Balint really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. When the match had gone on for 89 minutes, Doru Stoicu put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Omar Donzel. After 93 played minutes, Maxinesti's Lucrețiu Zberea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nicolae Zgabei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maxinesti reached it.
