Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Petre Ghiondea took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Mierea booed when Karpatos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 35th minute of the match Radu Tănăsocă sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Petre Mărăscu skillfully saved the ball. 38 minutes in the game, Petre Ghiondea fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Petre Mărăscu having to interfere. Petre Ghiondea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Budianu made a kick off. If Eugen Lovin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petre Mărăscu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petre Ghiondea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Eugen Lovin put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Petre Mărăscu. If Petre Ghiondea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valer Hirean hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match.
