Real Madrid Romania's Cosmin Săvoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Real Madrid Romania from getting a goal against them. Octav Afloarei could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Cosmin Săvoiu made a huge save. Dragoş Petru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Ilica in the 9th minute of the match. Dragoş Petru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcel Râmniceanu's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Andrei Cismarescu hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Marcel Râmniceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dragoş Petru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in FC Steaua Viziru's zone, Vlad Ilica stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dragoş Petru came out of the goal and Vlad Ilica tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dragoş Petru stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vlad Ilica's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Dragoş Petru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Busuioceanu in the 24th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Real Madrid Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Florin Covaci came free, but Cosmin Săvoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcel Râmniceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dragoş Petru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to FC Steaua Viziru getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Octav Afloarei hit a great ball. Dragoş Petru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlad Ilica, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. FC Steaua Viziru's Dragoş Petru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcel Râmniceanu in the 46th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcel Râmniceanu to strike the kick off in the second half. Dragoş Petru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vlad Ilica in the 52nd minute. A hard shot 54 in the game by Marcel Râmniceanu from a close distance when the talented Dragoş Petru managed to make a qualified save. FC Steaua Viziru's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horia Zub in the 56th minute of play forced Real Madrid Romania's goalkeeper Cosmin Săvoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dragoş Petru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stelian Onuț in the 62nd minute of play. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Steaua Viziru! In the 70th match minute, FC Steaua Viziru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolae Teaşcă to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Viziru's Octav Afloarei got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Andrei Cismarescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Dragoş Petru made a huge save. Cosmin Săvoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octav Afloarei in the 77th minute of play. Florin Covaci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosmin Săvoiu having to interfere. A collision led to Real Madrid Romania getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Flavius Corbu hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice moves Vlad Ilica could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Dragoş Petru however easily saved by the left post. Dragoş Petru came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madrid Romania's Andrei Cismarescu. But to his dismay, Andrei Cismarescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. With a little luck, FC Steaua Viziru's Dragoş Petru got control of the ball when Vlad Ilica tried to sneak it across the goal line. Octav Afloarei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Real Madrid Romania had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
