Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nichifor Râznicu made the kick off which started today's match. Dacian Buceceanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Codruț Ciuhandu having to make a save. Edgar Budulea hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Horaţiu Comănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Codruț Ciuhandu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nistor Feraru, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Horaţiu Comănescu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Corneliu Popârcea came out and tried to block the shot, but Horaţiu Comănescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Belciugatele's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Feraru came free, but Codruț Ciuhandu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 21 minutes Belciugatele's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iurie Tonegaru who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Pietricica CS's Malte Sandström getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Pietricica CS getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sabin Chesaru hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Budulea in the 27th minute of play forced Pietricica CS's goalkeeper Corneliu Popârcea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Belciugatele getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Edgar Budulea hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the match, Dacian Buceceanu notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Belciugatele's Codruț Ciuhandu. Codruț Ciuhandu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute Horaţiu Comănescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Popârcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Iustin Drâmbă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nistor Feraru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Nistor Feraru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Corneliu Popârcea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Comănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. After having played for 57 minutes, Nichifor Râznicu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pietricica CS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nichifor Râznicu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Belciugatele defense, Dacian Buceceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Codruț Ciuhandu. The Belciugatele fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Codruț Ciuhandu should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Pietricica CS's goal looked a bit too open when Horaţiu Comănescu came free, but Corneliu Popârcea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Edgar Budulea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Popârcea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 69 minutes into the game, Pietricica CS's Nistor Feraru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Codruț Ciuhandu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. In the 72nd minute, Nistor Feraru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nistor Feraru was extremely unlucky when he, in the 73rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Belciugatele's Codruț Ciuhandu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Belciugatele from getting a goal against them. Sabin Chesaru charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sabin Chesaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 88th match minute, Pietricica CS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sabin Chesaru to maneuver through the defense. Belciugatele's Iustin Drâmbă got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Codruț Ciuhandu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Râznicu in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Pietricica CS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Belciugatele throughout the match.
