Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mugurel Uduleanu got the match started through his kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Livezi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Alupulesei to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mocrea getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lucian Avacariței hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Livezi's Petru Mihăescu got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Livezi's zone, Paul Romaşcanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgil Olaru came out of the goal and Paul Romaşcanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20thth minute of the game Robert Lalescu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Livezi's Virgil Olaru was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Iordache Demian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Livezi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iordache Demian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 23 minutes, Robert Lalescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mocrea and the Livezi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mocrea's Irinel Racoviceanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Mocrea from getting a goal against them. Irinel Racoviceanu was a little too slow when Marcel Hortopan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 1-1. Marcel Hortopan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Irinel Racoviceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgil Olaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Romaşcanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes, Ernest Urdea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Livezi and the Mocrea players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mocrea booed when Livezi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernest Urdea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcel Hortopan made a kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Iordache Demian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Livezi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iordache Demian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 played minutes Mocrea got a freekick which was hit by Ionică Brăiloiu. Cezar Alupulesei kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Paul Romaşcanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Olaru having to interfere. Mugurel Uduleanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Livezi's Iordache Demian got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Iordache Demian managed to get in a good position for a shot. Livezi's supporters rose to their feet, but Iordache Demian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Irinel Racoviceanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mugurel Uduleanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Olaru having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Uduleanu in the 80th minute of play forced Livezi's goalkeeper Virgil Olaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Romaşcanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Virgil Olaru when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iordache Demian in the 86th minute of play forced Mocrea's goalkeeper Irinel Racoviceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcel Hortopan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Paul Romaşcanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 102nd minute Iordache Demian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Irinel Racoviceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mocrea's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
