An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebiu Mangra in the 5th minute of play forced FC Club Equilibrium's goalkeeper Albert Tiberiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damian Huțupan kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, FC Club Equilibrium's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eusebiu Mangra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. FC REAL UNIREA's Eusebiu Mangra got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albert Tiberiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Mangra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in FC Club Equilibrium's zone, Leonard Taşcău stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Tiberiu came out of the goal and Leonard Taşcău tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ionuț Ghiurutan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicu Dumitrana went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Moise Banu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 28th minute Moise Banu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Ghiurutan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 0-2 became the score in the 31st minute when Nicu Dumitrana elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ionuț Ghiurutan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Dumitrana in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC REAL UNIREA's goalkeeper Ionuț Ghiurutan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, FC REAL UNIREA's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Banu came free, but Ionuț Ghiurutan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moise Banu took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ionuț Ghiurutan. Ionuț Ghiurutan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eusebiu Mangra to make the kick off. FC REAL UNIREA's Ionuț Ghiurutan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Nicolaescu in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicu Dumitrana got free with Ionuț Ghiurutan in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edgar Corbea charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edgar Corbea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albert Tiberiu came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by FC REAL UNIREA's Eusebiu Mangra. But to his dismay, Eusebiu Mangra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. 63 minutes into the match, FC Club Equilibrium's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Taşcău came free, but Albert Tiberiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC REAL UNIREA's Ionuț Ghiurutan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save FC REAL UNIREA from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 72nd minute of the game. One of FC Club Equilibrium:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FC REAL UNIREA:s goal. Petre Purcaru walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in FC Club Equilibrium's zone, Leonard Taşcău stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Tiberiu came out of the goal and Leonard Taşcău tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Eusebiu Mangra had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albert Tiberiu. FC Club Equilibrium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eusebiu Mangra was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After 88 minutes, Nicu Dumitrana made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. FC REAL UNIREA's Ionuț Ghiurutan tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th match minute, FC Club Equilibrium was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moise Banu to maneuver through the defense. Eusebiu Mangra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Tiberiu having to interfere. Ionuț Ghiurutan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moise Banu in the 94th minute of play. The FC Club Equilibrium supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Club Equilibrium would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
