Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marin Paraschiv made the kick off which started today's match. After a defensive mix-up in Gothatea AS's zone, Maxim Oțeteleșanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florin Țepelea came out of the goal and Maxim Oțeteleșanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Luca Ţugui got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Antonesti CSS booed when Gothatea AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Tănase didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gothatea AS's Florin Țepelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iulian Neghină in the 17th minute of play. Florin Țepelea was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Luca Ţugui capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luca Ţugui really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The supporters of Antonesti CSS booed when Gothatea AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexandru Coșmeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Alexandru Crâșmaru shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Florin Țepelea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cătălin Gâgea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marin Paraschiv, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Antonesti CSS's Maxim Oțeteleșanu got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Gothatea AS's goalkeeper Florin Țepelea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luca Ţugui. Marcu Avarvarei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When George Augustin came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Antonesti CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Augustin couldn't finish the play. Antonesti CSS's Luca Ţugui got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Gothatea AS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Iulian Neghină fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Luca Ţugui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luca Ţugui to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Gothatea AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Tănase to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luca Ţugui in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Țepelea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Luca Ţugui notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Gothatea AS's Florin Țepelea. Florin Țepelea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luca Ţugui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Țepelea having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Iulian Neghină managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antonesti CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Iulian Neghină was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florin Țepelea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luca Ţugui in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florin Țepelea saved Gothatea AS from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Luca Ţugui's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florin Țepelea was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. When Filip Dogaru fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gothatea AS's protests and gave Filip Dogaru a yellow card for diving instead. After 70 played minutes Gothatea AS got a freekick which was hit by Filip Dogaru. Luca Ţugui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filip Dogaru kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. If Luca Ţugui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Luca Ţugui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Țepelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codruț Unchiaşu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Florin Țepelea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Crâșmaru in the 84th minute of play. After 84 played minutes Gothatea AS got a freekick which was hit by Damian Tănase. Gothatea AS's Florin Țepelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Ţugui in the 89th minute of play. Iulian Neghină struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Florin Țepelea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Antonesti CSS. Luca Ţugui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Țepelea having to interfere. Alexandru Crâșmaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luca Ţugui blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florin Țepelea having to make a save.
