Spectators: 7432 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Toader Antim made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, F.c Semiluna -MM-'s Daniel Rizea got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the game, Gothatea AS's Damian Tănase nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Robert Novăceanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rares Caloian who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Florin Țepelea when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 10 minutes of play, F.c Semiluna -MM-'s Rares Caloian made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florin Țepelea was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rares Caloians short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Florin Țepelea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gothatea AS's Florin Țepelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toader Antim in the 15th minute of play. 16 minutes into the game, Toader Antim recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Florin Țepelea. Toader Antim showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Damian Tănase received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Robert Novăceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rares Caloian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Florin Țepelea having to make a save. Marin Paraschiv fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Novăceanu having to interfere. When Daniel Rizea fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.c Semiluna -MM-'s protests and gave Daniel Rizea a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Gothatea AS booed when F.c Semiluna -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Rizea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toader Antim was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. F.c Semiluna -MM-'s manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. A collision led to Gothatea AS getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Filip Dogaru hit a great ball. Aristide Reznic's late challenge caught a F.c Semiluna -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aristide Reznic helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th match minute, Gothatea AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Reznic to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marin Paraschiv to strike the kick off in the second half. Toader Antim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 53rd minute, Rares Caloian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F.c Semiluna -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 59 minutes into the match, F.c Semiluna -MM-'s Rares Caloian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Florin Țepelea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, F.c Semiluna -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Marin Paraschiv came free, but Robert Novăceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Florin Țepelea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Antim in the 61st minute of play. Toader Antim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Țepelea having to interfere. In the 64th minute Rares Caloian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florin Țepelea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rares Caloian in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Florin Țepelea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When F.c Semiluna -MM-'s Rares Caloian in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gothatea AS's goalie prevented a goal. Filip Dogaru's late challenge caught a F.c Semiluna -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filip Dogaru helped the player get up and apologised. Filip Dogaru kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Vasile Sticlaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Toader Antim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florin Țepelea having to interfere. Florin Țepelea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rares Caloian, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After 84 minutes, Marin Paraschiv mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gothatea AS and the F.c Semiluna -MM- players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Gothatea AS got a freekick which was hit by Vintilă Chivulescu. The audience held their breath when Radu Neicu in the 88th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Florin Țepelea's left hand side. In the 94th minute, Toader Antim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
