Malamuc's Costică Irod got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Costică Irod came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Malamuc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Irod couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Malamuc booed when FC DACIA Medgidia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantin Nicolau didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Petre Ştef hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leontin Oncescu in the 25th minute of play forced FC DACIA Medgidia's goalkeeper Ciprian Balint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costică Irod to make the kick off. Leontin Oncescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Balint having to interfere. When İldeniz Demircan fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC DACIA Medgidia's protests and gave İldeniz Demircan a yellow card for diving instead. İldeniz Demircan hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Cristinel Tutunaru kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Malamuc's goalkeeper Valeriu Ailenei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tiburcio Elija. Costică Irod recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiburcio Elija's late challenge caught a Malamuc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiburcio Elija helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC DACIA Medgidia getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Tiburcio Elija hit a great ball. Ciprian Balint showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Irod in the 80th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes FC DACIA Medgidia got a freekick which was hit by Doru Tăutu. In the 86th match minute, FC DACIA Medgidia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Tutunaru to maneuver through the defense. Cătălin Varga's late challenge caught a FC DACIA Medgidia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cătălin Varga helped the player get up and apologised. After 90 played minutes Malamuc got a freekick which was hit by Cătălin Varga. Malamuc's Costică Irod got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eliodor Huțanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Ciprian Balint tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malamuc's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
