Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when George Mangra got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Corneliu Beraru during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 4 minutes into the game, one of Tirnovita:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Mangra in the 9th minute of play forced Ghiulita UFC's goalkeeper Eric Căliman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Ghiulita UFC's goal looked a bit too open when George Mangra came free, but Eric Căliman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Tirnovita's goalkeeper Claudiu Ielciu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petrică Balint. After a rather tough play, Tirnovita's Moise Zgrăbunţa got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the game, Silviu Bobocea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ghiulita UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tirnovita the free kick. Isac Caba's late challenge caught a Tirnovita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isac Caba helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Ghiulita UFC got a freekick which was hit by Isac Caba. When Silviu Bobocea was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 29 minutes had been played. Petrică Balint could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Claudiu Ielciu made a huge save. Petrică Balint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Aurel Vanghelie's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eric Căliman was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Petrică Balint made the kick off in the second half. If Remus Bejan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remus Bejan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eric Căliman having to interfere. If Petrică Balint had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Victor Pușcașu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudiu Ielciu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Claudiu Ielciu came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Ghiulita UFC's Petrică Balint. But to his dismay, Petrică Balint quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Remus Bejan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Eric Căliman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remus Bejan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Remus Bejan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Eric Căliman made a huge save. Petrică Balint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Claudiu Ielciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petrică Balint, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Ghiulita UFC's Eric Căliman got control of the ball when Remus Bejan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remus Bejan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 84 played minutes Tirnovita got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Vanghelie. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Remus Bejan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tirnovita's supporters rose to their feet, but Remus Bejan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eric Căliman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tirnovita's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Valer Costa in the 94th minute. Tirnovita's Valer Costa was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Eric Căliman in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ghiulita UFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Tirnovita for a fine match.
