In the 24th minute Mihail Tărău shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Radu Manciulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the game, Mihail Tărău cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Radu Manciulescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Boguslaw Czerny sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonard Iordan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavian Buhăescu having to make a save. 36 minutes into the match, Leonard Iordan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Octavian Buhăescu. Poderee FCM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Iordan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Boguslaw Czerny managed to get in a good position for a shot. Frasinetul AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Boguslaw Czerny was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octavian Buhăescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 54 played minutes Frasinetul AFC got a freekick which was hit by Enrico Palmucci. Poderee FCM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 63 played minutes Frasinetul AFC got a freekick which was hit by Sror Al Saleh. Mădălin Neața's late challenge caught a Poderee FCM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mădălin Neața helped the player get up and apologised. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Frasinetul AFC! Radu Manciulescu had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Ionel Zbagan's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Eusebiu Alucusan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Radu Manciulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play, Frasinetul AFC's Boguslaw Czerny made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Octavian Buhăescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leonard Iordan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octavian Buhăescu having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Mădălin Dejeu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poderee FCM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Frasinetul AFC the free kick. Mădălin Dejeu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 89th minute Frasinetul AFC were awarded a corner. Enrico Palmucci went to the cornerflag to take it. Frasinetul AFC's Enrico Palmucci was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Octavian Buhăescu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 90 minutes, Mihail Tărău mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poderee FCM and the Frasinetul AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Frasinetul AFC booed when Poderee FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Tărău didn't get a good kick on the ball.
