In the 10th minute, Adrian Răchitan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Claudiu Chindriș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gelu Harbuz in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Viorel Muncelean, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Viorel Muncelean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudiu Chindriș's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Mihai Turbatu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Curteanu in the 23rd minute of play. Viorel Muncelean didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Sacalusesti's defense didn't have a chance, in the 30th minute, when Claudiu Chindriș scored to the left of an out of position Viorel Muncelean, making the score, 2-0. From a short distance, Phoenix Seini MM's Claudiu Chindriș, in the 40th minute, tried to place the ball behind Viorel Muncelean, but the ball hit the right post on the wrong side and went out. A collision led to Sacalusesti getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mihăiţă Şteflea hit a great ball. Dragoş Apostol hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Claudiu Chindriș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Viorel Muncelean made a huge save. Teodor Macovescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Viorel Muncelean. Sacalusesti's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudiu Chindriș to make the kick off. Viorel Muncelean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Harbuz in the 52nd minute of the match. 56 minutes into the match, Claudiu Chindriș notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Sacalusesti's Viorel Muncelean. Viorel Muncelean was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 59th minute, Gelu Harbuz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Sacalusesti getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eduard Acatincăi hit a great ball. Claudiu Chindriș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Viorel Muncelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudiu Chindriș in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Viorel Muncelean saved Sacalusesti from getting behind. Viorel Muncelean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudiu Chindriș in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Sacalusesti's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Chindriș came free, but Viorel Muncelean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Irinel Andrițoiu during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Viorel Muncelean came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Seini MM's Gelu Harbuz. But to his dismay, Gelu Harbuz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After 84 minutes, Dragoş Apostol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sacalusesti and the Phoenix Seini MM players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, Sacalusesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Apostol to maneuver through the defense. 89 minutes into the game, Alex Curteanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sacalusesti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phoenix Seini MM the free kick. Gelu Harbuz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Viorel Muncelean tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Phoenix Seini MM had played much better football throughout.
