In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gisteni's goalkeeper Virgil Piersic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, DropDead's Doru Craia got a free kick in the 18th minute. Virgil Piersic showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olle Rosin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Horia Hudiță's late challenge caught a DropDead's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Doru Craia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Virgil Piersic was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. With his leg Virgil Piersic managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when DropDead's Doru Craia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Emanuel Bârza had several of the Gisteni's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 55 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-3 score and a disappointed Virgil Piersic as he didn't even see the shot coming. Olle Rosin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgil Piersic read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Stamatiu in the 66th minute of play forced DropDead's goalkeeper Hubert Ahlgren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
