The supporters of F C S B booed when Blesca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horea Chiriac didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 played minutes F C S B got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Gorgan. A collision led to Blesca getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Marin Lupeanu hit a great ball. Daniel Bogătean showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Cristoiu in the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Costică Şoiman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Bogătean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, F C S B's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Onete came free, but Francisc Crăciun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eduard Fetea came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Blesca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduard Fetea couldn't finish the play. Daniel Bogătean stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Răzvan Gorgan's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eduard Fetea during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Răzvan Gorgan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The F C S B fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 29th minute, Aron Tătaru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costică Şoiman in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Bogătean prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Mihnea Onete hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Răzvan Gorgan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Bogătean having to interfere. Daniel Bogătean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Şoiman, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. After the first half F C S B were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Răzvan Gorgan to strike the kick off in the second half. When Damian Borogeanu fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blesca's protests and gave Damian Borogeanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Blesca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Borogeanu to maneuver through the defense. Daniel Bogătean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Gorgan in the 55th minute of play. Daniel Bogătean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F C S B. Cezar Banica was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 78th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Răzvan Gorgan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Daniel Bogătean firmly grabbed it by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as F C S B's Răzvan Gorgan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Daniel Bogătean. That made the score 0-2 after 79 minutes of play. Horea Chiriac hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the match, Blesca's goalkeeper Daniel Bogătean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Răzvan Gorgan. Daniel Bogătean was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Aron Tătaru capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aron Tătaru really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. F C S B played a much better game than Blesca and deserved their victory. The Blesca players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
