Spectators: 7425 (Terracing: 5570, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 148) Doru Ene started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 7th minute Mattia Montini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugen Miclauș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eugen Miclauș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthy Aerts in the 10th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Doru Ene in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eugen Miclauș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eugen Miclauș came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter Cracovia's Matthy Aerts. But to his dismay, Matthy Aerts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eugen Miclauș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthy Aerts in the 23rd minute of play. FC Steaua Lehliu's Eugen Miclauș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthy Aerts in the 24th minute of play. After 25 played minutes FC Steaua Lehliu got a freekick which was hit by Filip Mitruț. 28 minutes into the match, Matthy Aerts notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Steaua Lehliu's Eugen Miclauș. Eugen Miclauș was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 37th match minute, FC Steaua Lehliu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigi Fânaru to maneuver through the defense. After 43 minutes, Gigi Fânaru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Steaua Lehliu and the Inter Cracovia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Inter Cracovia booed when FC Steaua Lehliu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigi Fânaru didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Inter Cracovia's Iulian Cismarescu was substituted for Stevica Gerardov. Inter Cracovia's Gelu Nedelea was substituted for Doru Ene. In the 61st minute of the match FC Steaua Lehliu got a corner. Inter Cracovia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Șerban Tărău ran over to the corner to take the kick. Gelu Nedelea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. FC Steaua Lehliu's Eugen Miclauș proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Steaua Lehliu from getting a goal against them. Eugen Miclauș was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mattia Montini showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 65 minute of play. With a little luck, FC Steaua Lehliu's Eugen Miclauș got control of the ball when Mattia Montini tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goffrey De Malier in the 70th minute of play forced FC Steaua Lehliu's goalkeeper Eugen Miclauș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Lehliu's goalkeeper Eugen Miclauș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gelu Nedelea. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mattia Montini got free with Eugen Miclauș in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, one of FC Steaua Lehliu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Steaua Lehliu. The goalkeeper, Eugen Miclauș, was totally fooled by Inter Cracovia's Gelu Nedelea, who 75 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 77th match minute, Inter Cracovia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Goffrey De Malier to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Lehliu's goal looked a bit too open when Mattia Montini came free, but Eugen Miclauș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gelu Nedelea got free with Eugen Miclauș in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 90 minutes of play, Inter Cracovia's Matthy Aerts made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugen Miclauș was left in no man's land by his defense there! Corneliu Moldovan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Șerban Tărău in the 94th minute of play. The FC Steaua Lehliu fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Inter Cracovia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
