Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, A.S.A. Balan's Grigore Huțupan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicolae Otopeanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 14 minutes into the match, Claudiu Balc dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gooitzen Baars, 1-1. Nicolae Otopeanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Grigore Huțupan's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. After 20 minutes, Irinel Cârneci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belesti and the A.S.A. Balan players grew even worse after the yellow card. 21 minutes into the match, Belesti's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Huțupan came free, but Nicolae Otopeanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrian Rusameeleelakul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Nicolae Otopeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antoni Wisniewski in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nicolae Otopeanu saved Belesti from getting behind. After 32 minutes of play, A.S.A. Balan's Adrian Rusameeleelakul made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicolae Otopeanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! 35 minutes into the match, A.S.A. Balan's goal looked a bit too open when Irinel Tâbârnă came free, but Gooitzen Baars reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgil Răţescu hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Marin Costandache hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

In the 52nd minute, Adrian Rusameeleelakul fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nicolae Otopeanu, passed just outside the right post. Antoni Wisniewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Șerban Emilianu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Nicolae Otopeanu made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Belesti's zone, Grigore Huțupan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicolae Otopeanu came out of the goal and Grigore Huțupan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Adrian Rusameeleelakul who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belesti's Nicolae Otopeanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Adrian Rusameeleelakul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antoni Wisniewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gooitzen Baars showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Balc in the 78th minute of the match. Adrian Rusameeleelakul was extremely unlucky when he, in the 81st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Belesti's Nicolae Otopeanu got control of the ball when Antoni Wisniewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Belesti's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Antoni Wisniewski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Doru Gugulanu kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
