The supporters of Costana CS booed when F.C.Transylvania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisc Lung didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Bocu to make the kick off. Costana CS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.C.Transylvania the free kick. 59 minutes into the match, Mugurel Agârbiceanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bogdan Teişanu. Costana CS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mugurel Agârbiceanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Cafu Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Trică in the 67th minute. The audience was convinced that Alex Bocu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bogdan Teişanu was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Cafu Valle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Trică in the 94th minute. In the 96th minute of the match Costana CS got a corner. F.C.Transylvania's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nechifor Ciorobîtcă ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Costana CS's Nichifor Olteanu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. When the referee ended the match the F.C.Transylvania players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
