The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. David Mircescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristóf Sipos went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Horia Encuțoiu in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Mircescu saved Fc Barcelona from getting behind. David Mircescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristóf Sipos in the 11th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristóf Sipos in the 12th minute of play forced Fc Barcelona's goalkeeper David Mircescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Horia Encuțoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Mircescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Mircescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristóf Sipos, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. When Horia Encuțoiu came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Merisasca SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Horia Encuțoiu couldn't finish the play. Kristóf Sipos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. David Mircescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merisasca SC. In the 31st minute, Horia Encuțoiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Mircescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. If Kristóf Sipos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Horia Encuțoiu made a precise shot to the right of David Mircescu. Fc Barcelona's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A hard shot 53 in the game by Horia Encuțoiu from a close distance when the talented David Mircescu managed to make a qualified save. Fc Barcelona's players were relieved. David Mircescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kristóf Sipos in the 55th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Fc Barcelona's zone, Kristóf Sipos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Mircescu came out of the goal and Kristóf Sipos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 57th match minute, Fc Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Mitulescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute of the match Mircea Năsturel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Mircescu skillfully saved the ball. Tudor Mailat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Secoşan in the 62nd minute of the match. Alex Secoşan's late challenge caught a Merisasca SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Secoşan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Merisasca SC booed when Fc Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Secoşan didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Mircescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Encuțoiu in the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Kristóf Sipos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of David Mircescu. Fc Barcelona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristóf Sipos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. Merisasca SC's Kristóf Sipos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 78th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. David Mircescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Horia Encuțoiu's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. 87 minutes into the match, Fc Barcelona's goalkeeper David Mircescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristóf Sipos. Fc Barcelona's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Horia Encuțoiu 96 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. When the final whistle sounded Merisasca SC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Fc Barcelona.
