Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Avram Bleoancă took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of FC DMN booed when Prejoiul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dinu Nediu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 6 minutes, Cristian Noica mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC DMN and the Prejoiul players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Prejoiul booed when FC DMN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Noica didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Petrică Agachi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prejoiul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Petrică Agachi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Avram Bleoancă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute Liviu Itoafă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudiu Brânzeu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Prejoiul's Claudiu Brânzeu got control of the ball when Ioan Filipoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petrică Agachi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ioan Prelipceanu having to interfere. Prejoiul's Claudiu Brânzeu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Prejoiul from getting a goal against them. If Petrică Agachi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dan Zbuchea during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Prejoiul getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Dan Zbuchea hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Avram Bleoancă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Prelipceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ioan Prelipceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petrică Agachi, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Avram Bleoancă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Prelipceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Dinu Nediu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Avram Bleoancă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liviu Itoafă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FC DMN booed when Prejoiul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Călin Bănățeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, FC DMN's goal looked a bit too open when Avram Bleoancă came free, but Ioan Prelipceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ioan Prelipceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Avram Bleoancă in the 58th minute of play. If Petrică Agachi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avram Bleoancă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th minute Avram Bleoancă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Prelipceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudiu Brânzeu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Itoafă, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Avram Bleoancă received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ioan Prelipceanu came out and tried to block the shot, but Avram Bleoancă slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 71st minute. Marin Bunoaică hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Ioan Prelipceanu came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Prejoiul's Avram Bleoancă. But to his dismay, Avram Bleoancă quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A throw-in in the 81st minute of the game was made by Marin Bunoaică with Emil Sângeorzan as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Avram Bleoancă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ioan Prelipceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dinu Nediu during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dinu Nediu hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. When Dinu Nediu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. Ioan Prelipceanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrică Agachi in the 92nd minute of play. Claudiu Brânzeu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Itoafă, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Prejoiul left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC DMN.
