Spectators: 5004 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 4) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Avram Bleoancă started the match with the kick off. When Avram Bleoancă came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Prejoiul fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Avram Bleoancă couldn't finish the play. If Avram Bleoancă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 9 minutes into the match, Valioara's goalkeeper Vali Mănescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinu Nediu. 10 minutes into the game, one of Prejoiul:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Dacian Bosioc shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Prejoiul's Claudiu Brânzeu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gică Dordea in the 15th minute of play. Claudiu Brânzeu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Dordea, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Claudiu Brânzeu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Ioviță in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Valioara's zone, Petrică Agachi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vali Mănescu came out of the goal and Petrică Agachi tried to chip the ball over his head. Prejoiul's Dinu Nediu got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petrică Agachi in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vali Mănescu saved Valioara from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Ioviță in the 32nd minute of play forced Prejoiul's goalkeeper Claudiu Brânzeu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudiu Brânzeu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Ioviță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dinu Nediu kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Dinu Nediu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vali Mănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Dinu Nediu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vali Mănescu. Valioara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dinu Nediu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Ioviță in the 46th minute of play forced Prejoiul's goalkeeper Claudiu Brânzeu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcel Ioviță to make the kick off. Ciprian Lupșe kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Dinu Nediu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Călin Bănățeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Dinu Nediu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prejoiul fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 77th minute, Avram Bleoancă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vali Mănescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Marcel Ioviță charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Ioviță the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th match minute, Valioara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Ioviță to maneuver through the defense. Avram Bleoancă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Prejoiul's Dinu Nediu got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Dinu Nediu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Prejoiul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dinu Nediu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st match minute, Valioara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornel Frumușanu to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Prejoiul fully deserved thier win.
