Nechifor Romeo's late challenge caught a MOGOSESTI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nechifor Romeo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th match minute, FC BARCELONA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nechifor Romeo to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th minute, Cristian Cocârlă reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vali Corbea. The goal made the score 1-0. When Radu Târban fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MOGOSESTI FC's protests and gave Radu Târban a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, MOGOSESTI FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radu Târban to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC BARCELONA getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Manuel Cobzeanu hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, FC BARCELONA's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Cocârlă came free, but Vali Corbea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MOGOSESTI FC's Basarab Zăvoianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Leucuța in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Emil Leucuța who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MOGOSESTI FC's Basarab Zăvoianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, MOGOSESTI FC's Gigel Siteavu got a free kick in the 29th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 31 minutes, Vali Corbea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Basarab Zăvoianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Cobzeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. The supporters of FC BARCELONA booed when MOGOSESTI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ovidiu Ungureanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, one of MOGOSESTI FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristian Cocârlă was the one to do the kick off. MOGOSESTI FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Emil Leucuța scored to the left of an out of position Basarab Zăvoianu, making the score, 1-2. After 100 minutes of play, FC BARCELONA's Emil Leucuța made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Basarab Zăvoianu was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC BARCELONA's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
