Spectators: 6725 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mihăiţă Berevoescu kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Constantin Otețea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cetateaua's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trampoele FCM the free kick. A collision led to Cetateaua getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Constantin Otețea hit a great ball. Trampoele FCM's Gigel Jienescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iordache Popârcea in the 11th minute of play. Dorel Stamate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cetateaua's Iordache Popârcea got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eugen Stelea during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eugen Stelea kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Valeriu Nișu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gigel Jienescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eugen Stelea hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Adrian Păun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trampoele FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Păun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliodor Videanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Iordache Popârcea made a precise shot to the right of Gigel Jienescu. Trampoele FCM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Iordache Popârcea struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Gigel Jienescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cetateaua. In the 43rd minute Dorel Stamate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Jienescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gigel Jienescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leontin Geangu's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorel Stamate stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adrian Păun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Adrian Păun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Leontin Geangu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 59 minutes into the match, Cetateaua's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Ostoici came free, but Eliodor Videanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Adrian Păun got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Trampoele FCM's Gigel Jienescu got control of the ball when Iordache Popârcea tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Iordache Popârcea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cetateaua's Dorel Stamate got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Adrian Păun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trampoele FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Păun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorel Stamate in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigel Jienescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mihăiţă Berevoescu's late challenge caught a Cetateaua's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihăiţă Berevoescu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cetateaua booed when Trampoele FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihăiţă Berevoescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigel Jienescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorel Stamate, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Cetateaua players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
