Spectators: 6697 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Manole Halipa took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute, Cristinel Frumuzache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vali Tuleiu during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 13 played minutes Talpigi got a freekick which was hit by Vali Tuleiu. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Cristinel Frumuzache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Siliste's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristinel Frumuzache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pavel Grigore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. David Stănoiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Pavel Grigore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristinel Frumuzache blasted a shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pavel Grigore having to make a save. Pavel Grigore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petruț Vlas in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Siliste getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Dorin Vişoiu hit a great ball. If Manole Halipa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Talpigi fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Talpigi:s Pavel Grigore showed great skill when he stopped Nechifor Biriș:s penalty. In the 39th minute, Nechifor Biriș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Siliste fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristinel Frumuzache to make the kick off. Cristian Bujor hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Nechifor Biriș struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Pavel Grigore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Siliste. Pavel Grigore stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cristinel Frumuzache's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Petruț Vlas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavel Grigore made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Petruț Vlas sent off a good shot on target. Sergiu Balțoi charged in rather forcefully in the 60th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergiu Balțoi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd match minute, Siliste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nechifor Biriș to maneuver through the defense. Petruț Vlas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavel Grigore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristinel Frumuzache in the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Talpigi's zone, Petruț Vlas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Grigore came out of the goal and Petruț Vlas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicodim Dimofte kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristinel Frumuzache couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Petruț Vlas got free with Pavel Grigore in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Petruț Vlas came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Siliste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petruț Vlas couldn't finish the play. After having played for 96 minutes, David Stănoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siliste's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Stănoiu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siliste played a much better game than Talpigi and deserved their victory. The Talpigi players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
