Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Robert Răzvan made the kick off and thus started the match. Marcu Duca scored 0-1 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Baicu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Ciucestii's Liviu Buzilă got a free kick in the 12th minute. If Marcu Duca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 minutes, Romeo Iordache made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Anlas's Edgar Baicu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcu Duca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Ionel Gherase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th match minute, Anlas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Gherase to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute of the match Liviu Buzilă shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Baicu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Marcu Duca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edgar Baicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioan Bercea in the 27th minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Ovidiu Păsărin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anlas and the Ciucestii players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albert Eftimescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Jilăveanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, Anlas's Robert Răzvan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. The Anlas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ciucestii were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Marcu Duca made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Ciucestii booed when Anlas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgar Baicu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Liviu Buzilă. Petru Hobjilă's late challenge caught a Ciucestii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petru Hobjilă helped the player get up and apologised. 62 minutes into the game, one of Anlas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Manuel Jilăveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Răzvan in the 69th minute of the match. Albert Eftimescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ionel Chițan hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Anlas's Ovidiu Păsărin was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Manuel Jilăveanu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Robert Răzvan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Manuel Jilăveanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Anlas getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ionel Gherase hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Robert Răzvan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Anlas's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Răzvan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Manuel Jilăveanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Albert Eftimescu in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Manuel Jilăveanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 90 minutes, Albert Eftimescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anlas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albert Eftimescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgar Baicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcu Duca in the 96th minute of the match. The Ciucestii supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ciucestii would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
