Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Väino Kotkas took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes FC Recolta Izvoarele got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Raţiu. In the 6th minute, Cosmesti AS's Constantin Axinte dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. With a little luck, FC Recolta Izvoarele's Gigel Petcu got control of the ball when Ovidiu Rebengiuc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gavril Dobre hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. The supporters of Cosmesti AS booed when FC Recolta Izvoarele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Raţiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gigel Petcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigi Lăcătuș in the 21st minute. A collision led to FC Recolta Izvoarele getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Codruț Gheorghiță hit a great ball. Gavril Macavei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codruț Gheorghiță in the 27th minute of the match. If Codruț Gheorghiță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Cătălin Hârlău hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Codruț Gheorghiță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gavril Macavei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, FC Recolta Izvoarele's goal looked a bit too open when Constantin Axinte came free, but Gigel Petcu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Gigi Lăcătuș came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Cosmesti AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gigi Lăcătuș couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Väino Kotkas in the 44th minute of play forced Cosmesti AS's goalkeeper Gavril Macavei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Marin Bugariu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gigel Petcu. Marin Bugariu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gigi Lăcătuș stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iustinian Beligan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gigel Petcu came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmesti AS's Ovidiu Rebengiuc. But to his dismay, Ovidiu Rebengiuc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 71 minutes into the match, Väino Kotkas notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Cosmesti AS's Gavril Macavei. Gavril Macavei was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 76th match minute, Cosmesti AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Gherguț to maneuver through the defense. Cătălin Hârlău lost his temper 81 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 85th minute Gigi Lăcătuș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Petcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Cosmesti AS's Gavril Macavei got control of the ball when Väino Kotkas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gavril Macavei made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Väino Kotkas sent off a good shot on target. In the 93rd minute Iustinian Beligan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Petcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cosmesti AS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
