When Gemenele's Bogdan Băsescu in 10 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Eusebiu Buligan guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. If Moise Galiceanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Ciprian Lucănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Moise Galiceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihail Mustață was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mihail Mustață made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Cudalb in the 29th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moise Galiceanu in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihail Mustață saved Gemenele from getting behind. Mihail Mustață took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Galiceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the match, Gemenele's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Galiceanu came free, but Mihail Mustață reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Avram Mendrea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moise Galiceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Mustață having to interfere. If Iustin Dudău had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gemenele players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nedelcu were winning 0-1.

After a defensive mix-up in Gemenele's zone, Iustin Dudău stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihail Mustață came out of the goal and Iustin Dudău tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ciprian Lucănescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Buligan having to interfere. Nedelcu's Eusebiu Buligan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Lucănescu in the 66th minute of play. If Ciprian Lucănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iustin Dudău sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ciprian Lucănescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Gemenele fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nedelcu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
