After 22 played minutes Captalani got a freekick which was hit by Eugen Mangra. 24 minutes into the match, Captalani's goal looked a bit too open when Horia Zbagan came free, but Dan Alexa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the game, Cristinel Zăvoiu landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Petre Axinia's late challenge caught a Calceasca FCM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petre Axinia helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Calceasca FCM's Horia Zbagan got a free kick in the 26th minute. Dan Alexa came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Calceasca FCM's Eugen Mircescu. But to his dismay, Eugen Mircescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The supporters of Captalani booed when Calceasca FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Mircescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th match minute, Captalani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Geoană to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 63rd minute Eugen Mircescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Alexa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iacob Geoană received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Tudor Văduva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luca Raţiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugen Mangra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Văduva having to interfere. Dan Alexa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Mircescu in the 96th minute of the match. Captalani's Dan Alexa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Mircescu in the 97th minute of play. Calceasca FCM's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
