Vali Buciu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Robert Chircu kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. If Vali Buciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valer Giosu charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valer Giosu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, Vali Buciu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. SSC Bacau United's Ioan Floricel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigi Urderean in the 12th minute of play. Remus Matei stood somewhat misplaced when Vali Buciu came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. Ioan Floricel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Mitescu in the 18th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mihaleni AS's zone, Nicodim Vulpescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Matei came out of the goal and Nicodim Vulpescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 尤西誉 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Chircu in the 24th minute of play forced SSC Bacau United's goalkeeper Ioan Floricel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SSC Bacau United's Ioan Floricel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Mitescu in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Octavian Zăvoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mihaleni AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SSC Bacau United the free kick. In the 31st match minute, Mihaleni AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Zăvoiu to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, SSC Bacau United's goal looked a bit too open when Gigi Urderean came free, but Ioan Floricel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vali Buciu was the one to do the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Vali Buciu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mihaleni AS's Remus Matei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 62nd minute 尤西誉 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Matei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valer Giosu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Gigi Urderean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ioan Floricel made a huge save. Remus Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Vulpescu in the 70th minute of play. After 73 played minutes Mihaleni AS got a freekick which was hit by Valer Giosu. Gigi Urderean could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Ioan Floricel made a huge save. When Eusebiu Codin fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SSC Bacau United's protests and gave Eusebiu Codin a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mihaleni AS booed when SSC Bacau United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusebiu Codin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 尤西誉 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 90th minute, Eusebiu Codin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If 尤西誉 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vali Buciu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remus Matei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. SSC Bacau United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
