Ionuț Dănălache hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Soborsin FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Ivănescu came free, but Gică Pătrășcanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If David Voinea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Sârban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Herea, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some careless play in the Hundrubechiu defense, Gabriel Herea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Sârban. The Hundrubechiu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Sârban should have stopped the shot. Ivan Bogza hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Paul Lixandru scored 0-2 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alex Sârban, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gică Pătrășcanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Ivănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Ivănescu in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gică Pătrășcanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute Gabriel Herea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Sârban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Herea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alex Sârban was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hundrubechiu! Codruț Mazăre shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After the first half Soborsin FCM were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Damian Ivănescu to make the kick off. Alex Sârban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Herea, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Alex Sârban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Lixandru in the 58th minute. Gabriel Herea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Alex Sârban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Herea didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-3 via right post in the game's 61st minute. Soborsin FCM's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! In the 65th match minute, Soborsin FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Ţopescu to maneuver through the defense. When Marcel Popoacă fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soborsin FCM's protests and gave Marcel Popoacă a yellow card for diving instead. Marcel Popoacă kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. A hard shot by Codruț Mazăre from long distance, 77 minutes into the match, got Alex Sârban's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 78 minutes into the game, Paul Lixandru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Alex Sârban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Soborsin FCM's Gică Pătrășcanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damian Ivănescu in the 83rd minute of play. Alex Sârban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Herea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Sârban didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paul Lixandru went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Soborsin FCM had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
