Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silviu Bărbulescu kicked off to start the match. Paul Lixandrus short, quick shot in the 3rdth minute got Petruț Țepeluș to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 6th minute, Paul Lixandru reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Petruț Țepeluș. The goal made the score 1-0. The supporters of Soborsin FCM booed when Grosu AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezar Stănciulaş didn't get a good kick on the ball. Codruț Mazăre has a good long shot, which he once again showed in the 11th minute of the match. Unfortunately the ball hit the outside of the left post. Marcel Popoacă's late challenge caught a Grosu AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcel Popoacă helped the player get up and apologised. Marcel Popoacă hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Grosu AFC's Fabian Covaci broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Gică Pătrășcanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ovidiu Alucusan in the 19th minute of the match. Gică Pătrășcanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silviu Bărbulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silviu Bărbulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Pătrășcanu having to interfere. Petruț Țepeluș made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Lixandru in the 28th minute. Soborsin FCM's Gabriel Herea got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Paul Lixandru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Soborsin FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Lixandru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gabriel Herea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 42 minutes, Ovidiu Alucusan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grosu AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ovidiu Alucusan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silviu Bărbulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Gică Pătrășcanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petruț Țepeluș showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Herea, who was totally free with the ball in the 49th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gabriel Herea was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Herea in the 55th minute of play forced Grosu AFC's goalkeeper Petruț Țepeluș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silviu Bărbulescu in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gică Pătrășcanu saved Soborsin FCM from getting behind. Grosu AFC's Petruț Țepeluș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Herea in the 61st minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Grosu AFC's Silviu Bărbulescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gică Pătrășcanu. That made the score 1-1 after 64 minutes of play. Grosu AFC's Petruț Țepeluș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Lixandru in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Grosu AFC's zone, Gabriel Herea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petruț Țepeluș came out of the goal and Gabriel Herea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Lixandru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petruț Țepeluș having to interfere. In the 96thth minute of the game Ovidiu Alucusan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Soborsin FCM's Gică Pătrășcanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidiu Alucusan got free with Gică Pătrășcanu in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
