FC V.a.S.y-MM-'s Răzvan Morovan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save FC V.a.S.y-MM- from getting a goal against them. Ovidiu Ciolac was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Varfu's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 25 played minutes FC V.a.S.y-MM- got a freekick which was hit by Silviu Tăbăcaru. In the 30th minute Rareș Pârvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Barboni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ovidiu Ciolac struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Răzvan Morovan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Varfu. With his leg Răzvan Morovan managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Varfu's Ivan Ştirbu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ivan Ştirbu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute, Ovidiu Ciolac fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Răzvan Morovan, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, FC V.a.S.y-MM-'s Eliodor Hirean got a free kick in the 47th minute. In the 48th minute of the match Eduard Bădilescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Răzvan Morovan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
