The referee ignored Salasuri AS's protests and gave Robert Chirilă a yellow card for diving instead. After 9 played minutes Salasuri AS got a freekick which was hit by Robert Chirilă. The audience was convinced that Bogdan Postelnicescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Panait Săliştean was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Bogdan Postelnicescu scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Panait Săliştean, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Ciutacu in the 17th minute of play forced Salasuri AS's goalkeeper Panait Săliştean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bogdan Postelnicescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panait Săliştean having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Bogdan Postelnicescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Panait Săliştean. Salasuri AS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bogdan Postelnicescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Salasuri AS's zone, Bogdan Postelnicescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Panait Săliştean came out of the goal and Bogdan Postelnicescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Costel Jula came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Salasuri AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Jula couldn't finish the play. Panait Săliştean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bogdan Postelnicescu went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Aron Ciutacu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Neacsa's supporters rose to their feet, but Aron Ciutacu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Panait Săliştean breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bogdan Postelnicescu was the one to do the kick off. When Aron Ciutacu came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Neacsa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Ciutacu couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aron Ciutacu got free with Panait Săliştean in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aron Ciutacu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Panait Săliştean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. After 69 minutes, Alin Caramarin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Salasuri AS and the Neacsa players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alin Caramarin kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Salasuri AS's Panait Săliştean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Salasuri AS from getting a goal against them. If Costel Jula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bogdan Postelnicescu struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Panait Săliştean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Neacsa. Bogdan Postelnicescu had several of the Salasuri AS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Panait Săliştean as he didn't even see the shot coming. Aron Ciutacu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Vlădean hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 89th minute, Virgil Liciu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Neacsa's Cristinel Pânzariu didn't even have to move. Aron Ciutacu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panait Săliştean having to interfere. Bogdan Postelnicescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Panait Săliştean having to interfere. The Salasuri AS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Neacsa were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
