Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Petru Balaci started the match with the kick off. After recieving a nice pass, Caldarusanca's Filip Albuț tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 7th minute, Iosif Zglobiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iosif Zglobiu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the game, Petru Balaci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caldarusanca's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Castani the free kick. A collision led to Caldarusanca getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Petru Balaci hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Dorin Grădinaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Matei Amandiței's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabin Mihai was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Sabin Mihai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sever Oroian, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petru Balaci in the 35th minute of play forced Castani's goalkeeper Eduard Cristian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petru Balaci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Castani getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Marin Hapaina hit a great ball. Dorin Grădinaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Iosif Zglobiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Eduard Cristian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Matei Amandiței stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Marin Hapaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sabin Mihai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Marin Hapaina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Castani's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Hapaina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabin Mihai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iosif Zglobiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petru Balaci in the 60th minute of play forced Castani's goalkeeper Eduard Cristian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caldarusanca's Dorin Grădinaru got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65th minute Petru Balaci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Cristian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th minute, Dorin Grădinaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caldarusanca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Sever Oroian came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sabin Mihai could save by the left post. Castani's Eduard Cristian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorin Grădinaru in the 75th minute of play. If Petru Balaci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matei Amandiței received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sabin Mihai came out and tried to block the shot, but Matei Amandiței slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 80th minute. Eduard Cristian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petru Balaci, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Dorin Grădinaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Petru Balaci came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Caldarusanca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petru Balaci couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Castani's Cosmin Tender got a free kick in the 88th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Grădinaru in the 89th minute of play forced Castani's goalkeeper Eduard Cristian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
