An unexpectedly hard shot by Petru Balaci in the 31st minute of play forced Bulimanul CS's goalkeeper Claudiu Sandu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caldarusanca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 54th minute, when Dorel Jucan scored to the left of an out of position Sabin Mihai, making the score, 3-1. The audience was convinced that Dorel Jucan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabin Mihai was relentless in the 59th minute of the game.
