In the 32nd minute, Continental Buzau's Gabriel Baldu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valer Vărzaru. Valer Vărzaru yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Valer Vărzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Baldu, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Valer Vărzaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Baldu in the 41st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Gheorghe Popovici's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Emanuel Maghiran was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Efekan Hüryaşar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Valer Vărzaru made a huge save.

After a rather tough play, Minerul Baita -MM-'s Viorel Petruescu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Valer Vărzaru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Efekan Hüryaşar went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Emanuel Maghiran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gheorghe Popovici in the 58th minute. Niculae Afloroaiei might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emanuel Maghiran. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niculae Afloroaiei ran back to his position shaking his head. Valer Vărzaru took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Baldu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valer Vărzaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Niculcea, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Narcis Niculcea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Minerul Baita -MM-'s Gigi Bârlea was substituted for Viorel Petruescu. Gabriel Baldu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. But to his dismay, Gabriel Baldu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. 86 minutes into the match, Gabriel Baldu notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Minerul Baita -MM-'s Valer Vărzaru. Valer Vărzaru was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 88 played minutes Minerul Baita -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Gigi Bârlea. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augustin Budișteanu during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Augustin Budișteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. In the 98th minute Narcis Niculcea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valer Vărzaru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Continental Buzau walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
