Ionel Beniuc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihail Lemnaru in the 33rd minute of the match. If Miguel Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The goalkeeper, Mugur Joanță, was totally fooled by ASA TIRGU MURES's Levi Colebrants, who 40 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a defensive mix-up in Sibisel FC's zone, Levi Colebrants stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugur Joanță came out of the goal and Levi Colebrants tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miguel Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugur Joanță having to interfere. A hard shot 48 in the game by Levi Colebrants from a close distance when the talented Mugur Joanță managed to make a qualified save. Sibisel FC's players were relieved. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marius Tudor to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 77thth minute of the game Levi Colebrants who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sibisel FC's Mugur Joanță was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Levi Colebrants in the 78th minute of play forced Sibisel FC's goalkeeper Mugur Joanță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ASA TIRGU MURES's Levi Colebrants was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mugur Joanță in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ionel Beniuc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marius Tudor, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. The attack was good, but when Levi Colebrants in the 88th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Sibisel FC booed when ASA TIRGU MURES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Giuverdea didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ASA TIRGU MURES had played much better football throughout.
