David Titulescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Silviu Stoicea blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without David Titulescu having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ionel Urducea was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Sibisel FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Mihail Lemnaru hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sibisel FC's zone, Ionel Urducea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugur Joanță came out of the goal and Ionel Urducea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moise Ilinca charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ionel Urducea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pitulusa CSS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionel Urducea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugur Joanță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 97th minute, Sibisel FC's Silviu Stoicea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sibisel FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
