Spectators: 7422 (Terracing: 5567, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 148) Marcu Troncotă made the kick off and thus started the match. Niculae Ştefănoiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mihnea Peter in the 7th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcu Troncotă in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niculae Ştefănoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute, Mihnea Peter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baraitura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Cristinel Chibulcutean hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Nicolae Băsescu kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcu Troncotă in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Niculae Ştefănoiu saved Liescii SC from getting behind. After 26 played minutes Liescii SC got a freekick which was hit by Sixto Todor. In the 27th minute, Marcu Troncotă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niculae Ştefănoiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Maxim Oravițan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergiu Pâslaru having to interfere. Liescii SC's Sixto Todor got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mihnea Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liescii SC's Maxim Oravițan got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Liescii SC's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Peter came free, but Niculae Ştefănoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baraitura's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sixto Todor 44 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. The supporters of Baraitura booed when Liescii SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Ciuvică didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Baraitura were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maxim Oravițan made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Marcu Troncotă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baraitura's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcu Troncotă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Niculae Ştefănoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihnea Peter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Niculae Ştefănoiu made a huge save. Niculae Ştefănoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Troncotă, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Marcu Troncotă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niculae Ştefănoiu having to interfere. With his leg Niculae Ştefănoiu managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Baraitura's Mihnea Peter fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Niculae Ştefănoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcu Troncotă, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Baraitura's goal looked a bit too open when Maxim Oravițan came free, but Sergiu Pâslaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcu Troncotă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mihnea Peter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 88thth minute tested the skills of Niculae Ştefănoiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Mihnea Peter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute Marcu Troncotă shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niculae Ştefănoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niculae Ştefănoiu made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Mihnea Peter sent off a good shot on target. Niculae Ştefănoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcu Troncotă in the 95th minute of play. The Baraitura players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
