Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgar Vermeşan kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sebastian Neaga got free with Nicodim Târban in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicodim Târban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristinel Grădinaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Neaga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicodim Târban firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 12th minute, Eugen Slicaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pirvanesti CSS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Sebastian Neaga spun around in front of the goal 19 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of fc.rasnov's goal. Nicodim Târban made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sebastian Neaga in the 24th minute. Edgar Vermeşan took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Horaţiu Calboreanu. Horaţiu Calboreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Vermeşan in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horaţiu Calboreanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Pirvanesti CSS's Cristinel Grădinaru got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Edgar Vermeşan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Calboreanu having to interfere. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sebastian Neaga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With his leg Horaţiu Calboreanu managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when fc.rasnov's Edgar Vermeşan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In a very dangerous position, a player in fc.rasnov fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Cristinel Grădinaru shot the penalty kick right outside the post. After having played for 59 minutes, Valentin Cojan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pirvanesti CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Cojan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gerard Hofman fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored fc.rasnov's protests and gave Gerard Hofman a yellow card for diving instead. Gerard Hofman kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Radu Covataru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. fc.rasnov's Nicodim Târban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Grădinaru in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pirvanesti CSS's Avram Roşulescu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Irinel Flintașu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Horaţiu Calboreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eugen Slicaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Avram Roşulescu made in the 86th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by fc.rasnov's Brendon Plank. After a defensive mix-up in Pirvanesti CSS's zone, Gerard Hofman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Horaţiu Calboreanu came out of the goal and Gerard Hofman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. fc.rasnov's Dinu Şneapotă quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Grigore Uncescu, made in the 91st minute of the game. Nicodim Târban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Slicaru in the 97th minute of play. Nicodim Târban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Neaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the fc.rasnov players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
