Nistor Hrib scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodor Lechințan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tarata CF's Teodor Lechințan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nistor Hrib in the 7th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Hrib in the 13th minute of play forced Tarata CF's goalkeeper Teodor Lechințan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iurie Apăvăloaie hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Horaţiu Furdui kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Matei Blidaru made a precise shot to the right of Valentin Dobrea. Sabolciu UFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 23 minutes into the game, Rareș Zbughină cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Teodor Lechințan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Valentin Dobrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Busuioc in the 28th minute of the match. After 30 played minutes Horia Busuioc rounded Sabolciu UFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-2. 32 minutes into the game, Tarata CF's Iurie Apăvăloaie nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Valentin Dobrea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Sabolciu UFC's Horaţiu Furdui got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. The referee ordered Horaţiu Furdui off the ground. After 36 played minutes Sabolciu UFC got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Furdui. Rareș Zbughină recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodor Lechințan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Neagoe in the 45th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rareș Zbughină to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Sabolciu UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rareș Zbughină to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Pavel Neagoe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodor Lechințan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. After 63 minutes, Nicolae Nisipeanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabolciu UFC and the Tarata CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tarata CF booed when Sabolciu UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Nisipeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iurie Apăvăloaie recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Teodor Lechințan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rareș Zbughină in the 71st minute. Valentin Dobrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Blidaru in the 79th minute of the match. Tarata CF's Teodor Lechințan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Tarata CF from getting a goal against them. After 90 played minutes Sabolciu UFC got a freekick which was hit by Pavel Neagoe. Iurie Apăvăloaie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Dobrea having to interfere. When the match was over Sabolciu UFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tarata CF throughout the match.
