After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Manuel Culiță managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Red Bulls Lupeni's supporters rose to their feet, but Manuel Culiță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Zmărăndescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emanuel Zmărăndescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelian Pacuraru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Vizitiu struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Emanuel Zmărăndescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Red Bulls Lupeni. Emanuel Zmărăndescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felix Vizitiu's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Leonard Nițu charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leonard Nițu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Red Bulls Lupeni booed when ŞTIINŢA FORCE ONE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonard Nițu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emanuel Zmărăndescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Pacuraru, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. If Felix Vizitiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, FC Red Bulls Lupeni's Constantin Calomfir got a free kick in the 17th minute. After a defensive mix-up in ŞTIINŢA FORCE ONE's zone, Felix Vizitiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Zmărăndescu came out of the goal and Felix Vizitiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Francisco José Flechart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felix Vizitiu in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Emanuel Zmărăndescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute, Felix Vizitiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felix Vizitiu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Emanuel Zmărăndescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in ŞTIINŢA FORCE ONE's zone, Sergiu Cutean stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Zmărăndescu came out of the goal and Sergiu Cutean tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 43 minutes of play ŞTIINŢA FORCE ONE's Leonard Nițu was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, ŞTIINŢA FORCE ONE's Leonard Nițu got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

ŞTIINŢA FORCE ONE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Felix Vizitiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Zmărăndescu having to interfere. Felix Vizitiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in ŞTIINŢA FORCE ONE's zone, Francisco José Flechart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Zmărăndescu came out of the goal and Francisco José Flechart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 minutes, Felix Vizitiu made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. ŞTIINŢA FORCE ONE's Emanuel Zmărăndescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. FC Red Bulls Lupeni's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felix Vizitiu in the 79th minute. 81 minutes into the match, FC Red Bulls Lupeni's goalkeeper Iulian Atodiresei had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Călinescu. Felix Vizitiu scored 3-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Zmărăndescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Zmărăndescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco José Flechart in the 90th minute of play. Emanuel Zmărăndescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Vizitiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Felix Vizitiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Red Bulls Lupeni had played much better football throughout.
