The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorel Isaia got free with Claudiu Balcan in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 40 minutes, Horia Hurmuzescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jeud and the PANDURII FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 44 minutes, Valeriu Cristescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PANDURII FC and the Jeud players grew even worse after the yellow card. With an all-out effort, Jeud's Leandro Guerra threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Horia Hurmuzescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Horia Hurmuzescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Hăvârneanu in the 87th minute of play forced PANDURII FC's goalkeeper Leandro Guerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jeud's Horia Hurmuzescu got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute, Cosmin Lozovan had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. When Iustinian Darabonț fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jeud's protests and gave Iustinian Darabonț a yellow card for diving instead. Iustinian Darabonț hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. 95 minutes into the game, David Druță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Claudiu Balcan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
