Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Codruț Horea took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Popoacă. Ivan Popoacă dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iulian Curuțiu got free with Ivan Popoacă in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 12 played minutes Chelis FC got a freekick which was hit by Sever Răduțu. In the 14th minute, Călin Ortacu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihăiţă Peptan was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 17th minute, Sever Răduțu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 21 minutes, Vali Mustățea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vali Mustățea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Chelis FC's Călin Ortacu in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuca's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 38 minutes, Codruț Horea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Codruț Horea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Codruț Horea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Chelis FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Vlad Cârțan hit a great ball. When Codruț Horea came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Cuca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codruț Horea couldn't finish the play. Iulian Curuțiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Ivan Popoacă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Chelis FC's zone, Iulian Curuțiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Popoacă came out of the goal and Iulian Curuțiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Codruț Horea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Codruț Horea kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Cuca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Curuțiu to maneuver through the defense. Ivan Popoacă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Horea, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Codruț Horea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Popoacă having to interfere. When Ionel Floroiu came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Cuca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionel Floroiu couldn't finish the play. If Codruț Horea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Chelis FC's Petruț Nicolcioiu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mihăiţă Peptan. Mihăiţă Peptan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 82nd minute Codruț Horea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Popoacă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cuca booed when Chelis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leontin Cotoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Popoacă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iulian Curuțiu in the 93rd minute of the match. When Cuca's Codruț Horea in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chelis FC's goalie prevented a goal. Despite being the better team, Cuca failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
