Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Valentin Fințescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Fințescu in the 3rd minute of play forced Geoagiu's goalkeeper Dorel Băieșu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 4th match minute, Geoagiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Burdulea to maneuver through the defense. Geoagiu's Dorel Băieșu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciprian Hrebenciuc in the 6th minute of play. Dorel Băieșu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valentin Fințescu in the 9th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Constantin Burdulea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Valentin Fințescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dorel Băieșu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Klement Wieloch stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Constantin Burdulea's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The supporters of FC BURNAZ booed when Geoagiu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Negrilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Geoagiu getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Constantin Burdulea hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Valentin Fințescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC BURNAZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Fințescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorel Băieșu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Octav Râmniceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Klement Wieloch tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Geoagiu booed when FC BURNAZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pompiliu Afloarei didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valentin Fințescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dorel Băieșu having to make a save. Octav Râmniceanu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Geoagiu's zone, Ciprian Hrebenciuc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dorel Băieșu came out of the goal and Ciprian Hrebenciuc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dorel Băieșu made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Valentin Fințescu sent off a good shot on target. Dorel Băieșu was a little too slow when Valentin Fințescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-2. After 68 played minutes Valentin Fințescu rounded Geoagiu's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-3. Dorel Băieșu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Valentin Fințescu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 73 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Geoagiu's Octav Râmniceanu got a free kick in the 79th minute. Valentin Fințescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorel Băieșu having to interfere. Ciprian Hrebenciuc scored 0-5 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dorel Băieșu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Valer Macri hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Octav Râmniceanu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When the match was over FC BURNAZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Geoagiu throughout the match.
