Paul Păstrăv was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sabin Ecobescu hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the A.S Nistru defense, Gabriel Moromete kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paul Păstrăv. The A.S Nistru fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paul Păstrăv should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ion Costandache stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gabriel Moromete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Paul Păstrăv tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudiu Doneceas short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Paul Păstrăv to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ion Costandache struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Eduard Crainic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for A.S Nistru. Paul Păstrăv took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Moromete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chisirid walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
