With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gabriel Moromete in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manuel Mavrogheni saved Valencia from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Valencia's Iacob Chibulcutean got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 23rd minute, Gabriel Moromete ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Mavrogheni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Chisirid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudiu Donecea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Iurie Jugănaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valencia's supporters rose to their feet, but Iurie Jugănaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eduard Crainic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 48 minutes, Claudiu Donecea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chisirid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudiu Donecea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tudor Bălcescu made a kick off. Chisirid's Claudiu Donecea got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Claudiu Donecea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Mavrogheni was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Chisirid's Gabriel Moromete got a free kick in the 64th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Claudiu Frâncu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chisirid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Valencia the free kick. A collision led to Chisirid getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Eduard Crainic came out and tried to block the shot, but Tudor Bălcescu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 89th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Valencia's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Moromete came free, but Manuel Mavrogheni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Crainic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Bălcescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
