The crowd rose to their feet as A.S Nistru's Ionel Cămărășan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ciprian Bogdan. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. A collision led to STEAUA NOUA getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Mugurel Boc hit a great ball. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for STEAUA NOUA! When the match had been going on for 19 minutes, A.S Nistru's Sabin Ecobescu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ciprian Bogdan. After 24 minutes STEAUA NOUA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sabin Ecobescu who took care of the corner kick. With an all-out effort, A.S Nistru's Ciprian Bogdan threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ionel Cămărășan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ion Costandache got free with Ciprian Bogdan in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as A.S Nistru's Ionel Cămărășan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ciprian Bogdan. That made the score 3-0 after 30 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ionel Cămărășan made a kick off. STEAUA NOUA's Ciprian Bogdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Costandache in the 57th minute of play. Ciprian Bogdan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ionel Cămărășan in the 61st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Ion Costandache managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S Nistru's supporters rose to their feet, but Ion Costandache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Bogdan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. STEAUA NOUA's Ciprian Bogdan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ion Costandache in the 69th minute of play. Marin Marica kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Nicodim Moculescu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored STEAUA NOUA's protests and gave Nicodim Moculescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, STEAUA NOUA's Nicodim Moculescu got a free kick in the 77th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Ionel Cămărășan managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.S Nistru's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionel Cămărășan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciprian Bogdan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ion Costandache in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciprian Bogdan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ionel Cămărășan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciprian Bogdan having to interfere. A collision led to STEAUA NOUA getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Marin Marica hit a great ball. If Ionel Cămărășan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
