Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Albert Prezan started the match with the kick off. Moise Vasiloiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiberiu Iovulescu having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Gelmar's Costică Constantinescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Costică Constantinescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gelmar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Costică Constantinescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Daniel Bercea shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 8thth minute of the game Petrică Gârniceanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gelmar's Tiberiu Iovulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nicolinti UFC! Tiberiu Iovulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petrică Gârniceanu went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. When Daniel Stănculescu came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Gelmar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Stănculescu couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Stănculescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costin Nicolau kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petrică Gârniceanu in the 35th minute of play forced Gelmar's goalkeeper Tiberiu Iovulescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ernest Nițulescu hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Daniel Stănculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gelmar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Stănculescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gelmar's Tiberiu Iovulescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Nițulescu in the 43rd minute of play. Nicolinti UFC's Octav Isvoreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Nicolinti UFC from getting a goal against them. 47 minutes into the match, Doru Cutieru notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Nicolinti UFC's Octav Isvoreanu. Octav Isvoreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petrică Gârniceanu made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Moise Vasiloiu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiberiu Iovulescu. Gelmar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moise Vasiloiu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. 58 minutes into the match, Nicolinti UFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Stănculescu came free, but Octav Isvoreanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mugurel Roman kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Daniel Stănculescu took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Octav Isvoreanu. Octav Isvoreanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Daniel Stănculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Isvoreanu having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Daniel Stănculescu notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Nicolinti UFC's Octav Isvoreanu. Octav Isvoreanu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Stănculescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Vali Staicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Stănculescu might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octav Isvoreanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Stănculescu ran back to his position shaking his head. Doru Cutieru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Octav Isvoreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Daniel Stănculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Isvoreanu having to interfere. Doru Cutieru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Octav Isvoreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Doru Cutieru struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Octav Isvoreanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gelmar. After having played for 93 minutes, Doru Cutieru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gelmar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doru Cutieru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th minute, Daniel Stănculescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octav Isvoreanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2.
