Manuel Floricel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 17th match minute, ACF Gloria 1922 Bistrita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinson Cavani to maneuver through the defense. Cristi Bușcu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cainii rosii defense, Edinson Cavani kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Floricel. The Cainii rosii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Floricel should have stopped the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Edinson Cavani had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Floricel. Cainii rosii's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edinson Cavani was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Francisc Enciu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute Edinson Cavani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Floricel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristi Bușcu during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 45 played minutes Cainii rosii got a freekick which was hit by Cristi Bușcu. Edinson Cavani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half ACF Gloria 1922 Bistrita were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Liviu Prisecaru made the kick off in the second half. Karolis Andrikonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Floricel was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Iustin Aristide capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iustin Aristide really showed his touch with that goal: 1-5. During the 56th minute of the match Cristi Bușcu completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cristi Bușcu a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 57th minute, Cristi Bușcu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Manuel Floricel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Robu in the 58th minute of play. Manuel Floricel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinson Cavani in the 59th minute of the match. Iustin Aristide might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Floricel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iustin Aristide ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Cainii rosii's goalkeeper Manuel Floricel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edinson Cavani. Iustin Aristide received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manuel Floricel came out and tried to block the shot, but Iustin Aristide slotted it home off the left post making it 1-7 in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute, Edinson Cavani made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Floricel. Cainii rosii's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-8. With his leg Manuel Floricel managed to avoid a goal in the 76thth minute, when ACF Gloria 1922 Bistrita's Edinson Cavani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 80 minutes, Karolis Andrikonis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ACF Gloria 1922 Bistrita and the Cainii rosii players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Karolis Andrikonis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nicodim Stănciulescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ion Șişman was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Manuel Floricel came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by ACF Gloria 1922 Bistrita's Francisc Enciu. But to his dismay, Francisc Enciu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-9. The audience was convinced that Edinson Cavani's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Manuel Floricel was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Iustin Aristide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Floricel having to interfere. Manuel Floricel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Robu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. If Edinson Cavani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iustin Aristide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Floricel having to interfere. When the match was over ACF Gloria 1922 Bistrita could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cainii rosii throughout the match.
